I was just wondering if there is another place besides the doors that 6.5 or 8 inch midbass drivers can be installed. I've got my 5 1/4 comps in the doors and don't have room to build kicks. Can you put them in the rear deck or does that destroy the imaging. Which size sounds better 6" or 8". Typically how much power do you need for mid bass. I'm running 90WRMS a side to my 5 1/4 and I think that is barely enough. The car is a 98 prelude. Thanks

You certainly can run midbass in the rear of the car - it's just a little harder to setup so you don't get the sound pulled back there.

If I was going to go to the trouble to do it, an 8 could be my choice.

Do you think I should build an enclosure for them under the rear deck or will IB work? Keep in mind i've got 2 12" Type R's back there. Could I use an inexpensive 8" sub, like a kicker comp, or should I stick to a midbass driver like the kicker RMB8. Do you think 100hz highpass @18db is too high?. I've got a KQ9 and it has a buit in 100hz crossover that can't be turned off. Thanks.
