About 6 months ago I got a PPI 4050 (4-channel) amp, and 6.5" JL Audio components installed in all 4 doors of my car (2006 Sonata).

Just last week I lost the bass sound on my whole right channel - I can only hear the tweeters on that side now.

Would this typically be a sympton of the amp, or the wiring? I'm going to have it looked at by an installer, but I'd like to see what the forum's opinion is.

 

is there more then 1 fuse on the amp? have you checked them?
maybe try to reverse rca's or actuall connections to speakers?
