n00b-fuse question and more
So far I have an Exile S500.1 amp and a Kicker 05dcvr122 dual 12" box. Im not into competition, just upgrading from factory, keeping the head unit.
I will eventually get a 4channel amp and speakers for doors (2 component+2coax), but dont have the cash right now, could be a while.
I have run signal wires from rear channel of HU to the back, the battery is also located in back, so everything will be there.
So, Im looking for power wire and fuse. I see there are AGU and ANL fuses. Should I go for ANL 100amp since I may be adding a second amp?
Then would I need more than 4ga power wire? I only need about 3-4 foot run.
Can I just run the power wires from one amp to the other in parallel or do I require a power distribution box?

I looked up your amp and apparently it draws 500 RMS, and thats assuming your running it at 2 ohm. I would get a distribution block, you don't need a fuse holder, especially if you get a fused distribution block (get ANL). Add up the total of amps on the fuses on the amplifier (for example if theres 2 25 fuses you need a 50 fuse in the distribution block for that amp). For what wire to use check out the bottom chart on this page Wire Gauge Tables as you can see 4 ga is probably overkill for you.

4 gauge is ok
but you are at a cross roads here.
you can either run a fused distro block..... or you can run 2 power wires, in which case you will need 2 fuses. one for each wire.
i'd go with a fused distro block. AUG type should be good enough for you if two amps are fused separatly. (with a fused block or 2 different positives)
