i need my box to be 3 cubes finished internal after port and sub displacement.cant be any wider that 32" and no higher than 14" but depth is no prob.my sub displacement is .1cube each and i want the port in the middel of the box 3" wide X the hight of the box so 12.5".i have 2 10" subs and my curent box is 14" high and 32" wide. i need it tuned to 45hz. im havin a hard time figuring out on my own cause im new to building box`s.thanks for any help you can give me

 

What kind of subs are you running? I ran the numbers through Bassbox Pro 6, and this is what I got: Using 3/4" MDF, external dimensions of 14" high times 32" wide times 17.66" deep. You want a single slot port, correct? For a tuning of 45hz, you want to do a port, 3" wide times 12.5" high times 12.46" long. For sub displacement, .2 cubic feet, and the displacement of the port is .366 cubic feet. This gives you a total volume internally of 3.566 cubic feet, less the subs/port, you end up with 3 cubic feet. Any more questions, fire away.
