New Alpine harness - connectors?

just got a new alpine HU and looking at the harness it has 3 differnt connectors on it

the remote wire has a small round crimp style looking end

the antenna has a larger round connector

and the illumination wire has a female spade

why is this, has any one seen these before

what kind of connectors do i use for these??

thanks

Ya I got the same on my 9856 that I just got and I just crimped the remote wire and cut the screw adapter off the ground and wired up the yellow and red like normal and then my amps.

what screw connector are you talking about

the power wires is bare wire

the ground has a half moon ring terminal which is fine, i'm going to bolt that to my fire wall, is that ok?? solid metal, i assume that would be a good chassis point

Yes im talking about the connector for the ground. Yep should be ok since it will go back to the car.

how did you crimp the remote wire?

that that connector in the harness meant to be crimped then?

That connector has a mating connector. available at cn tire or home depot etc.
I just cut it off and soldered. The idea is that if you don't use that wire, alpine has a clear rubber boot on it so it won't short to anything.

The remote turn on uses a bullet style connector, but you could just cut it off and solder it or use a butt connector, connector on the alpine remote wire is not meant to be crimped

ok so the concensus is to just cut a solder

ok what about useing the illumination wire, what is that supposed to be connected to??

i've got an old jetta, 90...can i just connect that to the dimmer wire for the stock stereo?
