Hey guys i just picked up 2 10 inch Audiobahn AW1051T with the following specs:
Sensitivity: 91 dB
RMS Power Range : 300 Watts
Peak Power Handling: 600 Watts
Impedance: 4 Ohm
Low Frequency response: 28 Hz
High Frequency Response: 1000 Hz
Diameter: 10 Inch
question is should i be looking for an amp with 600+watts?
the second question is is it good to over power the sub or over power the amp?

 

Get an amp that makes in the 400 to 800 watts RMS range (600 is ideal but a bit over or under is fine to) and make sure the amp makes it's power at 2ohm mono.
