OK so ... really new to this im a tech at a shop but never done audio

SO ive got a Jvc deck here with only the black plug and all the speaker wires comming out of the back and two rca outputs that say rear L adn right NOW

i have a sony XM- 450 amp that has all the spots for speaker wire out puts but none for inputs...

SO all the inputs for the amp are RCA i tried doing 1 into 2 from the Rear L AND R Rca jacks from the back o the deck but no luck ... is there anyway to properly switch the speaker wires from the back of the deck into rca.. so i can plug it into the amp?...

2 Line out converters will work just fine. They will convert the high level speaker wire output to a low level RCA jack. Same gear we use to adapt factory systems to aftermarket systems.

Simply, high level means an amplified signal, low level is not. For example, an amplified signal can register 35 volts + on an AC multimeter, whereas if you did the same on an RCA line, it'll be in the range of .5-6 volts
