the difference between the two in general terms, is stereo would be using a single channel while mono would be combining two channels.
ie ur amp may be 150x2 at 4 ohm stereo and 500x1 at 4 ohm mono. saying you had a 4 ohm load you could either hook it up to one channel and get the 150 or bridge the channels to get 500.
what subs are u running and what is the voice coil setup on your sub(s) ie dvc...2 or 4 ohm coils. and what model amp are you using. with these we can tell you the best wiring configuration
hey thanks alot my amp is an audiobahn A2502DP stats are:
True Digital Circuitry
Multi-Stranded Power Supply Toroids
Double-Sided Glass Epoxy Circuit Board
THD: 0.05%
S/N Ratio: >100dB (+/- 1dB)
Frequency Response: 10Hz-20kHz
Variable High-Pass/Low-pass Crossover: 50Hz To 250Hz
Variable Bass Boost: 0 - 12dB
Optional Digital Volt Meter (ADM100T)
Throughput RCA Connections
4-way Protection Circuitry: Thermal, Short Circuit, Overload, and DC Offset
Dual Cooling Fans
Cobalt Blue Illumination
Chrome Flame Fan Grille
High Gloss Chrome-Plated Finish
NICKEL-PLATED BLOCK TERMINALS
4 Ohm Sereo 250x2
2 Ohm Stereo 500x2
1 Ohm Stereo 750x2
2 Ohm Mono 500x1
4 Ohm Mono 1000x1
My subs are audiobahn 12 inch AW121T and i have 2 of them in a sealed box the stats are
Voice Coil 2" single 4 OHM
Operation 4 OHM
thanks for the help will be looking forward for what u have to say for wiring the best way

heh holy crap u confused me for so long how that amp made any sence. its 500 rms at 4 ohm mono and 1000 rms at 2 ohm stereo.
well what you wanna do for maximum power to the subs (500 rms each). is parallel the subs to eachother and bridge your two channels.
easiest way would be run a positive wire off one channel of your amp to the positive on teh first sub then another wire connecting the positive of the first sub to the seconds. then a negative wire from teh other channel of the amp to do the same thing with the negative terminals.

ok a bit more to tell you. make sure you use the outside +and -'s the should say bridged on them and have a line going to where the wires should go... +far left and - far right.

theres 1 problem the specs i gave you on my amp are the right specs so it is
4 Ohm Stereo 250x2
2 Ohm Stereo 500x2
1 Ohm Stereo 750x2
4 Ohm Mono 500x1
2 Ohm Mono 1000x1
i got the stats right from audiobahn.com so should i still do thgat wiring sceme?
