I have a Hifonics Europa 4 channel amp from about 1989 that I am contemplating doing something with in either a VW Corrado or BMW E36 Sedan. Anyone know how well this amp stacks up with more modern stuff? What is it best suited to drive? Thanks, Bob.

Great performer and a fine piece.
It's rated at 35x4 so go with some low powered speakers or bridge it to run a comp set or do a low powered full system lie Defro13 stated.

Glad to hear it is a good unit. Do you think it would be adequate if bridged and powering a single ten inch sub? I am kinda leaning to just getting an infinity basslink to do this duty due to weight and favourable reviews, but if the hifonics was significantly bettter, then maybe this would be a good approach. Or also, can you tie the 4 chanels into two effectively and run front components that are power hungry?
