lol i love your comment about the dealers. althought i have many friends who work/own/deal with dealerships i dont support any of my local dealers for any car audio related products cuz its a rip off. i know some people got to make money, but some people also got to save money.

for any newb, the advantage of going to a dealer is that they can do the work for you if you buy from them. but if you are not a total **** you can do it yourself.

Ditch the cap and upgrade your battery and wiring.

im not dissin dealers. i take all of my family's cars and my gf's family cars to my ONE AND ONLY dealer here in richmond hill to do all of the starters, alarms and tints......that is not something im capable of installing myself.

but if a dealer tried to charge me $100 for a capacitor and then $60/hr to do my amp and cap install i would probably have to slap him/her.

kid bought a used cap on ebay, there is no need to attack him like the local dealers are goin out of business because he did that.

Rich if you could buy that 100 inch LCD tv that you alwasy wanted online for 25% less than it is at your local Best Buy store, are you going to go to Best Buy to "support your local dealer"?

SUPPORT THE DEALERS THAT SUPPORT YOU, is the moral of the story. Last time i checked none of the "local dealers" contributed a penny to my Finals Trip Fund.

wow, c'mon Richard. You should have told him to support the site authorized vendors.

But, that (your) reply isn't very "love of the sport" like was it now.

haha, this is some funny .
Its all the same in Canada man. If you think Infinity make good speakers, please go to FutureShop Otherwise stick to what you know. And whats all this bullshit politics about ebay vs dealers? who the *** cares?? just get the best deal you can, really.

Anyways....
by the way, i'm stuck with a brand new fuse holder thing, 80A, AWG4, if anyone is interested i could mail it to you, if you give me a few bucks for it. 80A is waaay too big for my install, and is not gonna save my poor (max rated 48A) amp.

not really, if the dealer sells caps, obviously they want you to buy them, and there not going to tell you its useless.
