Wow, been a long time since I've been on a car audio forum. I am replacing my 8200NEX with the 8500NEX and just wondering if anyone knows if they have the same wire harness? Will I be able to just plug it in as currently wired? I know I can just pull it and find out but I'd rather know going in what I'm getting into.
Also, I understand the 8500 uses the GPS antenna for the wireless android auto. Anyone know if the old antenna will work, or will that need to be swapped?
I searched and searched but haven't found the answer anywhere else and the documentation in the boxes are not very clear. I thought someone here might be able to help.

I answered my own question, at least the first one if anyone is interested. They match up, I swapped head units and everything appears to be working. I went ahead and swapped the GPS antennas. They looked the same but just wanted to be sure.
