Pioneer GM-X904 Amp question
I just purchased this pioneer GM-X904 amp off of user trk2loud today and was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with it and or if anyone would know where I can get a manual for it? This is a question for you Pioneer guys lol.
Also I was wondering with this amp should all the channels be connected? I was testing this out. I put a imput into A/B (A/B/C/D is my example of eache channel in a 4 channel amp) and when I tested this I found that when I connected the (-) line to the (-) line on channel C or D there would be audio comming out when there is no input source even in channel's C/D
Does this sound correct?

I've installed it. Sounded decent and the customer was very happy with it with no troubles if that helps you. Not the best at low level detail and it is not the warmest sounding amp but a decent performer for the cost.
I have seen a bench test on this amp and it did:
56rmsx4@4ohm
161rmsx2@4ohm bridged
I cannot remember the test voltage though.
Other than that I can tell you from digging through the Pioneer catalogue that this unit is from 1996 and specs are:
Continuous power (20-20kHz, 0.04%THD
-50x4@4ohm
-75x4@2ohm
-150x2@4ohm
-2/3/4ch capability
-no current limiting
-S/N ratio 105dB
-frequency response 10-80Khz
-variable low pass filter 50-120Hz, -12dB
-variable high pass filter 50-120Hz, -12dB
-independent front and rear input gain controls 400mv-2v
-gold plated dual inputs
-gold plated thru-put terminal
-PWN power supply
-fan cooling system
-high speed mos-fet power transistors
-high performance balanced isolator circuit
-made in USA
-9-7/8x2-1/4x12-1/4"
