So the install is done...err...for now!

And here's the pics....

Oh....Sorry about the quality...gotta love XS Cargo $20 digicams....

Thanks to A-Team(Clay Schaffer) for once again for helping out and for bringing the TermLab to test with..hehe...

I started out with running the 2 runs of 2/0 welding cable...

and ran them to about the half way point and up thru the floor...seen here in the drilling phase of things...

We then mounted up the amps...I was going to build an underseat amp rack, but this seemed to work a little better.....

This pic was taken during the wire up stage of things, but shows how well it worked out.,..

We then ran all the power cables to the the amps.I ran the 2/0 from the battery to a distro block by the sub amp and then ran a small run of 2/0 to the sub amp and a run of 8awg to power the front stage amp. Then ran all the RCA's,remote turn on wires, front stage speakers, bass remote cable to a nifty little pre-torn hole in the carpet....

Then from there, we ran under the carpet to the centre console/dash...

While Clay worked on setting up the sub box,I began working on the dash area...Mounting the deck, getting speakers ready for mounting, getting wires extended to reach the dash....Unfortunatly,I didnt get any good pics of the dash work going on, but here's the end result of Clay's work...Oh...And thanks to Gary Zuffa from Anytime Installations for giving me a good deal on the enclosure....This is one of the boxes that was in his SS3-4 setup years ago...

After getting the speakers in..that was tight fit...and finishing up the wiring. We gave things a go...

Boy..Does this thing pound...or I guess in this case..Thumps!!

We threw Clays TermLab(dB Mic) in for giggles....and here's the result....

I'll try to get some better pics up in the next day or so....

Hope you enjoyed this...I loved doing it!!

Yeah everything went together very nice. After it was finished I would say it was for USACI, not dD Drag.

And this thing is already louder then the cavy, ever was, in a street class. And we never even played with anything, just droped it in and burped. I think the future of this van is wide open.

Yeah...Its not bad gear....But it all came with a price....and in some cases not a good one....

Anyway,I may wind up doing anything from Bass Race to SS5+....all depends on weather I can get out of this finacial nose dive anytime soon....

Having to buy a new vehicle set me back a fair peice....

Yeah...right here I'll admit there was problems with the Cavy...Things that I actually forsee becoming bigger....I'm glad I didnt sell it to anyone I know....

lol....such a familiar situation </font>
Only a matter of time with a chevy.. </font>
To be honest...This Dodge has been giving me a few probs of its own...but what do you expect for a $300 van??

So far had to put a starter, battery in it to get it going...then the block heater blew out on it..and this is while I had the mystery stalling problem which turned out to be a fuel pump....then it boiled over for now reason at all(I think it was a bad rad cap)....and now the alternator is acting up...

As well, before to long the LF wheel bearing I think will need to be tended to, the tank dropped again and flushed...etc etc etc....

But as said...what do you want for $300....I still like it!
