I am installing a screen and ps2 in my car next week and I was looking for a better way to install it other than just putting it under the seat or in the glovebox. Has anyone tried mounting main parts of the ps2 hidden away and just have the cd tray mounted somewhere very accessible? I have seen many people do this with Xbox's but no PS2's. Any advice or info?

thanks for finding that write up, that is a clean way of installing the PS2 but i think it would take away too much legroom in the front. Maybe i will just dive in and open up my ps2 and see what it looks like inside.

seen it in the mags, but the install was worth 80Gs, just the tray was installed in the dash, I would think you would need to keep it from vibrating and messing up your lazer.

yeah i just wanna install the tray somewhere accesible and hide the rest of the stuff. I dont think it would be any different than mounting just the PS2 in the car as it would still feel the bumps etc.

Maybe i will just do it the simple way and put it in the glove compartment.
