quick install... wire gauge and distro fuse

hopefully i get a quick reply because i want to have this wired 2nite!

I have a distro block with 2 80A fuses. One goes to a amp 60A fuses.... other goes to amp with 120A fuses. The fuses in the distro are to protect the wire from burning your car up right? I have a 100A fuse i can put in because i think my sub amp will pop the 80A fuse?? Sound like id be doing the right thing? 0 gauge to distro block 4 gauge to amps.

100 amp fuse should work. if you go bigger fuse, you'd need bigger than 4 ga.

good luck!!!!

Nice to hear that you're happy with 70% of your system's potential.
Now you can look forward to a huge increase when you have the means to get a 200 amp battery fuse, 0ga wire, and the rest of the big 3.
It's kinda like bein' jealous of someone that hasn't read Heinlein yet. They still get to do it for the first time.

Awesome plan.
Get rid of your fused distro block, and replace it with a 0ga in 4ga out distro block when you do the 0 ga.
I like the ones with the compression fittings the best.
Add a good ANL fuse at the battery, and you'll be looking for more rattles
