Quick Mono Amp Question

I just bought a Hifonics BXi 608 Mono Block Class D Amp. I wired my subs to 1 Ohm so there is only one connection from the subs to the amp. Now this amp has two positives and two negatives.Since my subs are hooked up to only one terminal through the box My question is what positive and what negative would i hook the subs up to? Thanks!

If it's a mono block it shouldn't matter? Having double connection plates is just a nicety offered by manufacturers so you can run wire from both subs directly to the amp to reduce resistance and increase output, to varying degrees depending on the amp and gauge of wiring being used, of course.

Either two is fine, they are connected on inside anyhow, they put the extra pair onto it to make hooking up another set of wires easier, rather than adding two wires into one terminal.

Confusing when a monoblock has two outputs huh...lol

ooops too slow..

Yep, I'm not trying to start something. Just pointing out that a mono amp is by it's nature not bridgeable with itself.

yep just saying tho if he did buy a internally bridged amp and used the wrong speaker terminals he could damage the amp and the subs alot of ppl dont understand the concept of a interlaly bridged amplifer compared to a regular mono amp that feeds into one channel
