Radio Removal Tools....
just wondering where are you car audio installers buy your radio removal tools?
|
no installers here?
no help? :( |
Which tools? I get mine from a wholesaler who won't deal directly with a consumer so that's not going to help much..
|
no tools specifically just thought maybe you could link me to some solid tools online that are common in the trade....

^ hey that's a pretty neat kit. I wonder what it's worth.
For factory radio removal you need a set of Ford keys http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/atta...ine=1313438998 and a set of Euro keys http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/atta...ine=1313438998 With those you can remove 90% of factory radios requiring keys. I've seen Ford keys at Canadian Tire. Euro keys are a little harder to find. For aftermarket radio a set of Pioneer/JVC keys and a set of Kenwood keys will get most out. Hit up your friendly local installer and see if they will give you a couple sets. |

i see the sears set and the other one posted but do u really need all those? or is the snap on one the only thing i would need other than the ford tool?
|
That kit includes all of the keys that come with aftermarket radios. No pro would buy it as they generally keep the keys that come with radios anyway (keeps the consumer from messing around with the deck)
