rear seat delete

So i will be attempting a rear seat delete in my soarer. I was thinking to maximize airspace and conform to the panels as much as possible, I would build a frame out of metal then wrap it in cloth and fiberglass it.

Anyone see any issues in doing it this way?

My other option is to use all mdf, but then I would loose a lot of airspace and be limited to a sealed enclosure for my subs.

Can anyone point me to any examples?

beleive me...the rear seats are pretty much useless..the car should have been a 2 seater to start with.

making the frame out of wood might be a little easyer to get it to comform to and would be easyer to attach the cloth to when wraping it.

I'll take pics when I start installing, lol!

Hopefully I can solicitate feedback before I end up with something completely useless like I did on my supra fiberglass rear seat delete attempt, haha.
