Rear speakers don't work!!

Hey all,

New to the board here. Just a question if anyone else has run into this or has any answers. I've just installed an Alpine cda-9830 into a Ford Probe with a stock premium sound system. It's all wired up properly and all speakers work when the hu is in tuner mode, but when I switch it over to CD the rear speakers shut off and only the front speakers, which run off another amp, have sound. I've played with all of the settings and nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

Yup, remove the cd player and look to see if you have hooked up the blue wire instead of the blue / white wire on the cd player. The blue wire is a power antenna wire and only gives +12v when the tuner is on. The blue / white wire is +12v remote on when either the tuner or cd is being used.
