I just installed a dvd player and i used the analog input on my deck to run the audio through the system. Now it sounds like complete *** when using the audio from the dvd player and im pretty sure it has to do with the 1.2V input coming from the dvd deck. IS there anything that I can run inline to turn down the input voltage?

Sure is.. buy a pot from rat shack that you can adjust between 1-10 ohms (or whatever) and rig it inline with the +ve RCA output from the DVD..

Now you basically have a volume control..

damn i never noticed the button on the remote that said volume. I guess thats how i can adjust the pre-amp output for the dvd player. IT still doesnt sound as clean and clear as playing through my normal deck but for movies i think it will do its job
