Remote Turn On Wire

ok, i have an orion 1200D and an 8004, i am wiring the system myself, i have most of the wiring finished already, but i just have one question. do i have to run the remote turn on wire from the deck to the amps? if i dont will the amps just turn on when the car comes on? if i do have to run the remote turn on wire, can i daisy chain it from one amp to the other? thanks alot for any help

Yes, you need the remote turn on wire and yes you can daisy chain them.
I used the remote turn on from the cars RAP system to turn on my LOC interface and it has a 2 amp output for remote. I use that to turn on 6 amps and 2 crossovers.

yes u need remote turn on wire but u can also use a switch from another positive source to turn on your amp. About daisy chaining them u can but the more times u do that the more input voltage will drop between amps
look for another turn on wire behind the deck

the wire tells the amps to turn on when you turn the deck on and off (DUH) now you can run the turn on wire to acc rather then the deck but when you turn the deck off the amps will still be on, leading to funny things like subs thumping and noise through the speakers, most good quality decks have 500-1000ma output for amp remote, so its usually not a problem to even run 4 amps turn ons off that wire

if you are going overboard with turn-ons you can also use a relay
