Remote Wire

For a remote wire can i use a regular speaker cord or a rca cord without the prongs?

Speaker wire will work just fine.

you can also just buy a roll of 16awg wire for cheap.

I installed a 0.5 amp fuse on mine on the advice from this site (bcae1.com) . It hasn't blown yet so I'd assume you can use just about anything you'd like.
