On Saturday Afternoon I did a system for a buddy, Deck, amp, sub in a 90 GMC truck. All connections were done fresh by me. The sub is cutting in and out. The rest of the speakers that are running off the Deck are fine. The amp is still on because i can see the LED. It is not getting too hot and has a good ground. Like I said, All connections are fine. The only thing I didn't connect was the speaker wire to the sub(12" Rockford HX2) in a custom built sealed box.

Any Ideas?

Is it a Power HX2 or a Punch HX2?

I'm pretty sure its the punch. Power costs more, right?

The Punch HX2 is the cheaper one, it is also dual 4 ohm and that's probably the source of your problem
