Rockford Bass Remote Value/Range?

Could someone tell me the value/range of the potentiometer used in the bass control of rockford amps?

nope, it's a 45hz centered bass boost, not a bass control

yes thanks, it is centered at 45hz

But i would like to know the value of the bass boost control itself, the actual control part.

I was told at a local shop it would cost me around 80 bucks plus shipping/handling /duty to get it from rockford and i was thinking it would be a lot cheaper to make one of my own from a potentiometer.

I don't think I've EVER used the bass ****.... I think it's more of a gimmick then something that can help your performance.
