So this is my first time installing a amp. Is there anything against running the power and rca cables under the carpet i know that they both need to be separated from each other. I was going to run it on each side of the drive shaft tunnel. anything really wrong with that? I really don't mind the little hump in the carpet.

 

It should hurt in any way. As long as youre fine with a lump in your carpet. I run all my wiring through one slit in my carpet all the way through my dash and to the engine where I ground and wire the system up to my battery. Doesn't miss a lick so go ahead and install it the way you were thinking of it won't hurt.
