Does anyone have any experience with installing aftermarket battery terminals on a side post GM battery?

I would like to upgrade my terminals, but I am not sure if side posts are easy to do or not!

Thanks!!

Kewl....Knu Konceptz has one that looks nice...

Second Q...

How hard is it to remove the cable from the existing terminal?

Yeah, the cable is what I was wondering about...the cables that attach to my battery have what appear to be some heavy duty ends on them, but, am I correct in assuming that I can leave those ends on and just attach them to the new side posts?

Side posts are not that difficult to do.. just don't tighten them too much or you might find yourself buying another battery..

I just found a longer bolt of the same thread and used washers to take up any slack. I have like 3-4 fairly large wires coming into the pos terminal and its all good, just don't tighten too far or you'll thread right into/through the lead barrier and presto totalled battery. If needed use washers to take up any slack, works like a charm. Total cost of upgrade, 2$ cnd (I think thats what it was)
