Sniffing Glue
im going to mount my amps to the back of my fold down seats ( keeps em out of the way of my hockey hear, book bags, tennis rackets, squash rackets and golf clubs) the back of my seats looks like its made from pressed aluminum or pressed steal so i dont want to mount directly to that, ive come to the conclusion that im going to glue some mdf or plywood to the backs of the seats then mount the amps to the plywood/mdf.....is this a good idea? MDF or plywood? and last question of all whats the best glue to get?
CG, mdf or ply doesn't really matter, I've used both. 1/2" is plenty. Cover it nice and there's no diff.
But instead of trying to glue, I'd screw the panel to the metal, then screw the amps seperately to the wood (but you already that).
