Soundstream DTR1.2200D install

Getting ready to install this amp for two 12" DC level 4s, and was wondering if anybody has had experience with this amp and/or could offer some advice while installing. The specs say that a 200A fuse is recommended, and I'm also going to be running 4 AWG wiring for power (considering using 1/0).

I heard something about this amp requiring a wafer fuse, any idea why?

I'm also looking at my power options. In a 2000 civic, I'm not sure whether I should add a second battery in the trunk or upgrade the one battery I have (on top of the big 3). I feel like this could be a very controversial subject and I've had many opinions on it. So many opinions that I'm not sure which to pick now.

The amp appears to have no fusing(maybe internal) hence the need to have a fuse on the power line going to the amp. Which should be done anyways IMO... also 200a draw and only 4ga input? Also with that kind of draw a 2nd battery is needed for sure unless you A only use like < half the amps output or B dont mind having all your electronics in your car see <10 volts if you crank it up for more than a few seconds.

Yes, there was never a question of the inline fuse on the power line... I don't think I'll be drawing a full 200A, I'll be using 0 AWG cable for sure though. I don't want the electronics in my car to be seeing less than 10 volts, so I'll be looking at getting another battery. Not sure how the wattage on that works though, as in what my system will be needing from the 2nd battery.
