Trying to run wire in an 05 Colorado Pickup, and they have plastic plugs on the chassi side of the gromet.
I removed the rubber and found the plasctic plug
behind it.
Dont know how i`m going to run the speaker wire.. let alone get the rubber gromet back on.

Any Clues?

Do you mean speaker wire through to the doors?
And if so, do you mean a molex connector?

Can you drill a hole big enuf for the wire through the molex and feed it thru there?

DWVW had a great thread on this topic with pics.

The pics are all gone.

I really dont know how to get at these plugs.
The plan so far is take the doors off and drill holes from a better angle.

Unless theres a trick looming around...

Look very carefully at the pins in the door side of the molex. If there are pins that have no wires attached, that is where you are going to run the wires through. Locate the matching pins on the vehicle side, if there are wires attached to the pins, remove both the pins and wires from the vehicle side of the molex. Cap off the pins (don't want any nasty surprises now do we). Drill out the pin holes large enought to pass your wire through. Split your speaker wire in two and run each line through the vehicle side molex first, then through the door molex and pull enought through to reach the speaker location(s). Reconnect molex while pulling the slack out fromin between, done like dinner.

Do the plastic plugs come out of the door frame>? Or do I need to take the door off.

I have no problems drilling holes! I`ll use a hole saw if things get sketchy

They should be able to be removed from the door frame from the inside of the door, get a light and get it in there to see for sure. All vehicles have the wiring added after the door is assembled, so what goes together must come apart.
