Subs popping when I turn the car off

Hey guys, i searched the forums and i didnt find anything that helped out. i never had this problem until i hooked up my video on the pioneer avh-7600dvd. but it still happens when i unhook it so i don't think thats the problem. I have 2 mtx thunder 4500 running bridged off a fosgate p250.2. rca goes from head unit to amps directly. the next option is, is it because the power and rca are going down the same side of the car?

bad ground, bad rca, could be a problem with the HU, .... they are million of possibilities.... I would start by double checking the ground...

Sounds like its just a turn-off bump from the amp... Not sure if anything can be done about that or not, but some amps have a soft turn-on/off feature.

yea my guitar amplifier does that when i switch it off ....the electronics nerd who works at my dads computer store says it just the amplifer letting out the last bit of power in the capacitors and such....

Unplug your RCA's and see if it still does it.. will help tell if it is the deck or amp... should probably use a Shorting plug to tie up both inputs on the amp when you do, but may not be 100% needed...

Let us know.. but these days I would take it as a sign of a piece of gear that has developed a problem, or is wired in wrong to the car (IE deck ign wire etc)..
