subwoofer is very quiet... help troubleshoot

Thanks man, of all the troubleshooting i've done on system it turns out to be a bad ground alot of the time.

Just shows how important a good solid connection with bare metal is.

Sand to bare metal, wipe clean with alcohol (or equivalent) and fasten with nut/bolt then you'll never need to worry about it

or just run a 12v and ground line direct to the battery

Ground should never be bolted to a factory bolt.
