ta5601 and 4volts
ta5601 and 4volts
hey i have a mtx ta5601 amp. and a deck that puts out 4 volts on the sub out. the amp has two setting for the rca input high level and low level. low level is from 100mv to 1 volt and high level is from 1 volt to 10 volt. when i put it on high level cus the decks rca out put is higher then low level ( 100mv to 1 volt) the bass sucks ****. and the gain has to be full bore to get anything. when i have it on low lever i have bass at lower volumes but once i get up to my normal volume the bass goes away.........
also the subs that i have need 1.75 cuft sealed each and they are in a 0.97 cuft each and i have put some pillow stuffing in the box to make it seem larger to the subs it helped but not much could it just be that the subs are crapping out cus they need more room?

well after rechecking my wiring of the subwoofers i found that one out of three was out of phase so i changed that and the bass back to normal but i still am woundering about the rca voltage should it be on high level or low level. rite now i have it on high level cus the rca outputs on the deck are 4 volts so that is out of the low level range.
