Got the back dash where I want it:
Attachment 18382 Attachment 18383 The car still had the factory speakers so I used them to make templates for the baffles: Attachment 18384 Here the finished products. Baffles were also deadened: Attachment 18385 Attachment 18386 Passenger side installed Attachment 18387 Attachment 18388 Driver's side deadened and installed: Attachment 18389 Attachment 18390 Attachment 18391 Im still unsure where I want to mount the tweeters, I'm aiming for the side mirror garnish but I have to do some cutting, last resort will be to mount it to the door panel. You know I likes my beer! Attachment 18392 Now I didnt want the headache of trying to fish the wires through the door jam so I just splices in the harness.........no not the factory harness. Here are the wires all neat and bundled up: Attachment 18393 Speaker wire and RCAs twisted together and zip tied, ready for some runnage: Attachment 18394 Time for the amp rack. Due to the shape of the cutout in my back seat I was crammped for space so I had to stack another piece of mdf for the smaller amp to sit on and also to make wiring easier. The smaller sits 3/4" higher than the other amp: Attachment 18395 Attachment 18396 Attachment 18397 Attachment 18398 Binding Posts, 1 in, and 1 about to be hammered in: Attachment 18399 Attachment 18400 Attachment 18401 Banana Plugs on some 8 gauge wire: Attachment 18402 Attachment 18403 Attachment 18404 Attachment 18405 Attachment 18406 Attachment 18407 Trunk deadened and box installed: Attachment 18408 Attachment 18409 Attachment 18410 Attachment 18411 I'm just waiting on a ground block, to finish the wiring. |

Yep waiting on a ground block to finish the wiring
Deadener is Audio Technix With the doors and trunk deadened now my roof rattles so ill have to work on that Is there any other way to treat the mdf without using resin????? |
