Trouble Going Through Firewall on 97 Prelude

Hey guys,

Just wondering if you guys know where the best place is on a 97 prelude to run your power wire through on the firewall. I really don't want to drill a hole and all attempts to go through premade holes have failed because I have big hands and both the engine and under the dash is crazy tight.

I have one of these as my winter car.
I had to drill one of the pre made holes out a bit more, I think it was a little above the pedals and inbetween the clutch and the brake.
Make sure you use a gromet and some loom you don't want that wire touching the sharp metal from the hole you drill.
But you don't really have a choice, I spent a while searching for a hole and had no luck.

I've worked on many of those cars. There is a grommet down and to the right of the battery. pull it out cut a hole in it the size that's required and push the wire straight down from the hole. Don't drill there because there is the air condition core behind it.

Thanks Guys. I actually finally managed to go in through the gromet with all the wiring from the fuse box. Went straigt through and down the passenger side. Worked great.
