I have a video monitor that requires + or - 5% of 12DC ........do you guys know where to get or make a 12volt regulator ? Hate to spend this much money and then blow it up ! My car system is pretty much at 14V constant. But the manufacture claims that it will damage monitor.

you could use two voltage regulators one + one -
or buy a premade on the only thing is they probably won't have filtering to deal with your electrical system

look up 7805 regulator and it will have a negative sister with a similar number

I guess this screen wasn't designed for a car then ?

look for a regulated DC-DC supply that holds 12v...
