Hey, my buddy has a 95 GTI, with a Kenwood CD deck from about 3 years ago, an MTX amp on his subs, and an RF amp on the mids/tweets. Ever since his deck was hooked up in the ride, it had a low rumbling through the subs with the car on. Lately it has been making some heavy thumping noises through the subs, even with the volume at 0. Any ideas? Deck or RCA issue? Ground? Gimme whatcha got, if you can, thanks!

if it hasnt been fixed yet, check your groudn under hood. i ahd same problem, in my 91 golf, and it happened to be that my gorudn to frame wasnt bolted down, so it was just bolted to the tranny. good luck

Thanks guys, I will check both of those things out. o0Dialling0o did you mean the ground from the battery to the frame? Loud Brown, I had to drop the gains a fair bit, as he is running his amp at 2 ohm mono, but I will mess with it a bit. I have a feeling that there may be a problem with the wiring or the deck, though.
