What Amp for pair of 13W7s

I have a buddy that is selling me a pair of JL audio 13w7 subs, and I am debating it, if I were to get them, what kind of amp should I get to power them, My budget is around 600-800ish.
I was debating to get pair of Boss amps and have one for each sub,
Or same thing with Power Acoustik 5500 watt, since they are over rated for power, just run one for each sub
Another was get a Kicker 2500watt amp and spend beyond the budget.
What do you guys recomend?

I wasnt looking to spend over $1000 on an amp,

Plus that $1000 JL amp under powers the subs too,

I had decent luck with my Boss amp that I bought 3 years ago, that is still working, 3000watt peak, worked decent

Best bang for my buck sort of thing is what I am looking for

Any thoughts on the Kicker 2500 amp?

Any other suggestions, I am coming to you guys for advice, as I dont know a lot about this stuff?

Kicker makes good stuff I hear. honestly though I doubt you're gonna get proper power for them out of the Boss amp, but I could be wrong. there are a few good bang for the buck type amps. I've had good success with Crunch/Hifonics, and they're not crazy expensive for the power you're getting. might not do exactly rated power but they can come pretty close without killing your wallet

if you are running W7's, plus dont cheap out on an amp.

2krms will get those subs plenty loud.

I'd go with a hifonics amp. I had one. The BXi 2610d. It was a solid 2kwrms amp that was cheap. Cost me under 400$ shipped brand new in box from ebay.

Alpine MRP-M2000 would do the trick, possibly in that budget but it would be close.

remember those subs are dual 1.5 ohm subs, so you want a amp that does a good 2000 watts at 2 ohms since your final impedance will be 1.5 ohms. That kicker 2500 would be plenty for those W7's
