dual processors aka the 3sixty.2 with laptop/or PDA via Bluetooth
Cheapest route and probably the least reliable and worst sounding

both of these need a laptop to be programmed but are quite powerful (and cheap if you compare to other processors)

I had an H700 - it had 8ch out.

Agree with Julian - need a pair of processors which gets messy.

IMO leave the rears out but if you insist you need to compromise and either use passives somewhere or a pair of processors.

i wondered if it would still sound ok if you went mono on the rear door components?

yes unless you blast it louder then the fronts
