How about getting a big piece of plexiglass and covering them with it. Cut out an Acura symbol in the plexi where it covers the subs for them to vent and to add some nice detail. Can be illuminated with some backlighting if you wish also.

if you are going that far do some lights next to the p-glass and light it up . if the light is on the side of the p-glass the cut out will light up http://www.cartunes.ca/images/galler...arearright.jpg
something like this

When I worked at Ralph's we got our metal mesh from Rustan Metals (I think).

I used it in my previous install & it was stong enough to support things on top of it but was still porous enough for air to pass through.

If I'm wrong about Rustan, try giving Ralph's a call & maybe they'll let you know their supplier.

Industrial Plastics in Richmond or Home Depot. IP has shorts they sell for pretty good prices. I get my stuff from their Langley store. There used to be one in Surrey, but not sure if they are still around. Check Yellow Pages.

thats for the plexi i am guessing?

dont use plexi over your amplifiers, it scratches very easy, use tempered galss, it will cost less and cleans up with windex and just overall looks better, we always use 4mm glass and it works very well and have never had a piece break in 7 or 8 years

could i throw stuff on it ? and what about holes for airflow?

add a couple of squirrel fans. One to push and one to pull. It should circulate enough air for sufficient cooling.
