what's your satellite radio install?
all this talk about sat radio is tempting me a lot Problem is all of the tuners look as if they're meant to be mounted on top of the dash rather than being integrated into it. Has anyone done a nice clean install with sat radio, and what hardware did you use?
thanks
thanks
there's a couple hardwire units that are made by sirius:
SIR-ALP - Alpine
SIR-KEN - Kenwood
SIR-CLA - Clarion
SIR-PAN - Panasonic
Hope this helps.... Also there's a line out feature on the back of an Audivox one I have and I usually suggest going with a deck that has aux in or like the alpines just adding a KCA-121B to "Hardwire" it in....

The Clarion CeNET tuner is called the SIRCL2 and includes an antenna. You can plug this into any CeNET head unit, or you can also control this tuner via the DSC920 if you want to do a 'good looking' in-dash installation, or want to use it with the DRZ9255.
thanks for the tips guys
my deck is an aging Sony C90 which I'm not in any rush to give up. I was looking to use an external tuner through the aux in. However I've just learned of a Sony receiver, the XT-XM1, that looks like it can work through my C90
has anyone ever heard of it or used it?
