Wiring alpine deck

I have all the wires connected, black to black, red to red, I was reading something about connecting more than one wire to the red, I am super confused and have never wired a stereo in a car before any help is much appreciated.

Exactly what information are you looking for? Usually it's yellow (12V constant), red (switched 12v)& black (ground) to get a radio to work.

Welcome to the forum by the way.

If it's a alpine video deck it will need another positive input, but from the foot brake It's not nessary for deck operation but if you want to watch video it is. I recommend you take it to a certified installer before anything gets damaged.

Is the savings by installing it yourself and the risk of damage to the cd player and the vehicle worth it, no, then bring it down to me and I will get it looked after for you. Coke slurpees (2) helps to save some $ on the install.
