Would I need an isolator?
So for those of you that know me probably know that I don't really care much about getting things done "properly", but still like things to work. So, I have two batteries now, and for a couple weeks had a 3rd and everything was just wired up to each other and everything was great. Well now I'm down to two but I'm planning to replace my back battery with two, but I'm wondering if I would need an isolator to keep both the starter and the "bank" separate to keep their charges happy? I mean, I will probably just hook them up anyways but would an isolator be the way to go?
Big 3 is done and I have a bigger than stock alt in now, I'm still looking for a bigger one though, and when I had my first 3 batt setup they were paralleled with no problems. I was just concerned about having them "kill eachother". Not really looking to burp, just daily stuff and bass race when the time calls for it, and I think I have a charger laying around somewhere so I thought maybe giving them a charge everyone couple of months just to be safe. Oh well, looks like its isolator free for me.
