Yo Dukk!
I've posted and you responded regarding my MTX 6000
Here's what I am thinking:
Moving the MTX to my car where I currently have a pioneer running a quasi-free-air set up (Trunk sealed from cabin and the baffle wall is ported to 27.8hz. The Trunk is 9 cubes).
I might leave it tuned to 27.8 or I might lengthen ports and tune it to 22hz. I was thinking of then moving the pioneer to my home theater is I build a 7 cube box. Any thoughts?
Here are the specs
- - MTX - Pioneer
FS 29.9 - 33.4
VAS 77.2L- 105.6L
QTS 0.66 - 0.48
QES 0.73 - 0.49
QMS 6.46 - 17.75
RE 3.24 - 3.0
Xmax 9.4 - 6 (mm)
RMS 250 - 150
SPL 87.2 - 94
Le 1.8mH - 0.62
BL 11.44 - 10.22
Sd .0552 - .051 m^2

I actually had a look at the MTX on WinISD last nite - I really need to get my TermPro software on my current machine
Anyway - IMO I would not exceed 2cuft on the MTX and expect it to reliably handle rated power down low.
I really need to move that software... WinISD does not have what I need...
