My introduction with my toys :)

So here I am making a new topic to introduce myself (and get 10 posts so I can PM the guy that I joined to pm haha), hopefully I will find some more interesting stuff on here too so I can stop in every now and then to get some other ideas.

So anyways, in the last few years I had an 89 dodge colt that I made AWD with a roll cage and other goodies. It was a blast, still have some parts left over from it haha.
My PLC I had in it for gauges, this is before all the sensors were wired in -

Some motor stuff -

So I parted it out because of the rust, the car was from BC. Just over 400 hp at the wheels the last summer I had it, owned it for 5 years.

Bought an awd car with warranty , 2008 Evo MR.

3 kms on it and in the show room still at the beginning of 2010, so I had a decent deal on it .

Built this in it for gauges:

- I didnt like the other options that are out there for gauge placement in these cars.

Sold my ZX-10R and bought a 2011 KTM RC8R this spring, it kicks *** haha. 1195cc V-twin sport bike. About 170-175 hp and 90-94 for torque, fueled up and ready to ride is still less than 450 lbs of weight from what I remember. Plus people ask me about it everywhere I go.

It has some cool things in it, an instrument cluster that tells way too much info like outside air temp and fuel economy. Two different fuel maps, road mode and race mode (for different gauge setups and max speed/rpm logging), something about an optional quickshifter too but thats just ridiculous I think.

My winter beater and ride to work...

Since this picture it now has a larger front bumper that will house a pto driven winch once I finish putting it together, and new leafs in the back.

And a little video of the quad in the water, dont have too much on him yet, its a new Honda Rincon 680 with different tires, and I made the snorkel for it as well as the lift too. Seems to work real well so far.

Comments and feed back are welcome, I plan on building a weird and totally hidden box in the evo for a sub once I can get what I want...

- Joe

Hmm, not sure why the few youtube videos didnt pop up, not sure if its a time delay thing on this site, but here are the links for it...
