Need help
 

I ordered a Pyle PLA2220 2 Channel 2400 Watt Bridgeable Mosfet Apmlifier that runs 2x 1200 watts rms @4 ohms And I was going to purchase some Type R's that run at 1000 watts rms @4ohms. My question is will there be a conflict of the amp possibly blowing out the subs since its runs 200 watts rms higher than the subs are rated at. If so can you suggest another set of 12/15 inch subs that run 1200 watts rms @4 ohms that won't be junk.

pyle is crap, and that's prob 1200max... it wont actually put out anywere near that amount of pwr. that amp bridged will prob put out close to 400 at 4 ohm. so it prob does around 100 wrms x 2 at 4 ohm.

get a bigger/better amp

If you look at page 6 of that amplifiers manual it is rated at 150 Watts RMS X 2.

To much power will not be your problem with that amplifier.
