Hi all!

I've been a bass junky since my first car. Even before I could legally drive it I stole my Dad's home stereo from the attic and stuffed it in the car. I hooked it up to the door speakers and crammed the cabinets in the trunk. It was cool for a 13yr old in the 80s

I've been fixing Tv's and laptops professionally for about 15 years, phones for about 5 years and I'm about to fix a plie of amplifiers I've destroyed and hoarded over the years. Starting with the cheap ones and working my way up.

here's the build in my 05 Tahoe:
150a alternator, 2 optima red tops under the hood and four 6v golf cart batteries in the cargo hold under the rear seats 0 awg threw out.

There's a 10kw 110v inverter we use for camping.
wcc-17.2 inch flip down for movies and an original Nintendo plays Mario bros in the headrests.
Orion 8004 runs the 4 alpine door speakers.
Vintage Fosgate 4 channel running the high side in the doors.
pyle 4x10 in the way back on deck power. (can't find better 4x10 size)
I just blew up an oirion hcca2500 and some hx2 punch's
I have a no sub situation so I'm going to go out in tomorrow afternoon to grab an Audiopipe or a Brutis along with few no name subs to fill the holes. Sad face* for budget equipment.

If any one knows a good read on transistor substitution and/or upgrade I'll be looking for that info.

Am I in the wrong forum or posted in the wrong place?
