Hey there SQ. I saw a post of yours and was wondering what you thought about the arc audio amplifiers?

Welland continues to die . . . back in September John Deere announced they were closing down the plant and moving it to Mexico - that's 800 jobs gone! Likewise, CanadianTire Financial is talking about moving 300+ of it's IT jobs to the Hamilton/Burlington/Oakville area. It's a hurting town for sure. Thankfully I have a good, stable job, but I feel for the rest of the city - 3 people on my block alone were employed by J.D. - one now has a new job in Kitchener, but that means he's moving out to Kitchener this spring too - I hope he can sell his house.

I'm not into the car audio scene (oddly enough as I'm active here). I've got a wife & 3 kids (ages 1, 3 & 5) so competitions and stuff like that don't happen. Instead, my car audio involvement is working on my own car for my own listening pleasure, and helping other people out with some of the finer details of car audio.

I'm too lazy to click on your profile - where are you? What caused you to settle there?

No I don't work in a stereo shop.
I've been to Base Electronics a number of times (and in a recent post I commented on my local shop - I was referring to Base). Really good people there - they know their stuff and they're really helpful. Terry . . . I don't know if that's the owner or not. Funny, I've had a bunch of conversations with him, and I don't even know his name: Bald guy - lean build, about 5' 8" in his mid-40's . . . does that sound like terry?
    It's a great shop.
