[rant] Craigslist

Free tips to all Craigslist users:

Your Ikea furniture is NOT antique, it's not worth what you paid for it, or even close.

No one cares what you paid for your "state of the art" TV/CD player/etc 5-15 years ago. Or even 6 months ago. If it was four grand, and is now a thousand dollars less BRAND NEW yours is worth maybe 2 grand. Not 3500 because you're throwing in the stand you overpaid for. Your 15 year old curved glass 32" XBR that was 5k is worth 100 bucks. Tops.

Computers also depriciate, seriously. Even laptops.

No, I will not send what I'm selling to Africa.

I'm not stupid, I know that the Gucci/Fendi/Versace whatever that you're trying to trade to me is fake. Especially when you have it in every colour.

But seriously, 95% of the posts on craigslist have to be garbage. If it wasn't for the odd crazy deal on there I'd vote for it to be deleted from the internet.

I also hate it when people don't post the price or put $1 in the heading.

I tend to use redflagdeals. I find theres a lot of stuff on there, and you can find good deals if you know what you're looking for and check back often enough.

I too use RFD when I can, a lot of nice people on there and some pretty sweet deals!
