Tomorrow I am looking at a 1995 Chevy Cavalier for $1995..it is black, 5 speed and has 200,000 km on it. The doors need a little bit of body work apparently, but my parents looked at it today and think its a good buy.

I know some of you own Cavaliers of this Generation and I am wondering what is your opinion of them?

I agree with Dukk, its probably near rebuild time for that engine.

 

thats all that cars worth .. i have a 98 with 140000 on it for cheap

 

I have access to a free 2.2 as well if this one does go. I'll look at it tomorrow then go from there. I'm wary of the milage..but ill have to see..

 

well, I installed an amp in my sister's sunfire today and running RCA's and power wire was a breeze. if that helps.......

I owned a 96 Cavailer -- the engines are ok... it is the transmition that is ****. Mine went and the dealer wanted $2500 to fix it. They do drive well though.
