1995 Dodge Caravan (Lost Keys!)

I lost my Caravan's keys yesterday night, and was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation. Are there any affordable locksmiths? How much would the dealership charge me for a replacement key? Are there any locksmiths on this forum that can do the job? Are there any companies out there that can make me a replacement key if I provide them with my VIN number? Any help would be great, as this is extremely urgent! My other car is blocked inside the garage until I can get this moved.

It's a Dodge Caravan, with no alarm/security system; I don't see why a replacement key should cost much.

In my experiences, a dealership will charge up to $50 to cut a key by vin # AND you need proof of ownership for the vehicle in question along with ID

Yup, I have spare keys for every car, and I'm certain that I have one for this as well. It's just that I can't find the other keys, either. Man, the car is almost worth nothing, so I'm hoping it's less than that.

I got one cut for a 1995 Neon for 3 dollars but that was my mom's 1/2 price discount from a Dodge Dealership.

They used the VIN even though I had a key there, I just wanted a back up key. They told me that they don't usually copy a key anways because of the wear and tear.

Just call up any dodge dealer and ask them, shouldn't be more than 10 bux for a key like that.

it would be more like $50+++ if the key had a security chip in it. But that van is to old for that. When i locked my keys in the CRX w/ it running i had to drive to honda and give them my vin number. They didnt charge me anything, but i dont know if that was b/c i knew the guy or if they were just being nice. But just to for warn you, if you do lock your keys in your car w/ the heater running full blast for 6 hours dont reach in and touch the keys. They left a damn blister on my fingers lol
